In numerous cases, Blonde d’Aquitaine cattle have dressed out at 65 to 67% and their crosses dress out from 59 to 62%.

Blondes have smaller heads, lighter bone, smaller stomachs and a thinner lighter hide. These points along with the Blonde’s heavier muscling results in the Blonde’s high dressing percentages.

Blonde d’Aquitaine cattle and their crosses are an economical choice for butchers because of their high meat-to-bone ratio.

These cattle can comfortably yield up to 80%.
